The words "The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep" or "And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light" evoke a storm of emotions in me. At the same time, I perceive the Creation of the World as a program, by following which, we exist. It is a complicated program and the humanity is yet to understand and grasp this program - God's Intent. The humanity is close to understanding the God's Intent through computer technologies. That is why my paintings have computer circuits. Will the discovery of the God's Intent and the code of the program lead to a catastrophe? Gathered technologies already make it possible for the destruction of the World or its total collapse. It is the new Noah's Flood. Who will stay? Who will survive? What will be afterwards, after the catastrophe? Was it intended by the God's Program? There is an addition to my paintings "The Creation of the World" – "The Eighth Day". "Cain killed Abel, and fled to the east, where the fallen angels sheltered him and helped him to create a great industrial civilization and build a city from which spread evil and violence". "The Eighth Day" is us today.
